Unlike traditional counseling, I spend more time working within the context of your present experience, rather than "talk" oriented therapy. I show you how to be mindful in ways that allows you to connect to the deeper parts of your self, which is essential for deep change to take place.

I teach you how to use your own strengths and capacities as a powerful pathway to resolve the inner obstacles that get in the way of fully engaging in life.

Free Monthly Class Series

Therapeutic Mindfulness is simply our ability to notice our experience as it’s happening, with a welcoming, open, non-judgmental attitude. In this ongoing class series, you’ll learn different mindfulness practices that facilitate greater self-connection and self-knowing. These practices are designed to create neural integration, which is the physiological underpinnings of a secure, adaptable, compassionate, and well-regulated human being. Each month we’ll have a different focus. You are welcome to attend monthly or drop-in for any class.

In the spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday, the November 16th class will focus on Gratitude. When we are experiencing gratitude, we tend to experience a state of openness, ease, and expansiveness in our minds and bodies. In this class we will explore ways to mindfully cultivate and be nourished our own capacity for gratitude.
